What Parents Say About The Professor Toto Language Education Series...
Although Professor Toto was developed for students between the ages of 2 and 12, we were pleased to receive comments from parents of children as young as 10 months and as old as 14.
This product holds children's interest my 2 year old and 8 year old both like it. They learn without paperwork and studying - just enjoying the DVD's. Animation and soft-spoken language using every-day terminology help tremendously. Babies learn English that way, so it only makes sense that they (and mom) will learn other languages that way also. I greatly enjoyed this product and will continue to use it with my children.

My 2 ½ and 4 ½ year old children love your Professor Toto Italian language kit. They watch the CD 2-3 times per day. We have tried at least a dozen other products and by far, Professor Toto is the best! My wife and I, who are also taking Italian language lessons, enjoy the CD and material. Your product is well-suited for anyone interested in learning a foreign language, even adults. We are hopeful that you are able to produce a second series of the Italian language kit in the near future. Please let us know if and when it becomes available. We will be first in line to buy it.

I recently placed a Professor Toto order for my brother’s daughter, Hannah who will soon be turning two years of age.
My brother grew up in
Paris
,
France
and is very keen on speaking French in the home and having Hannah learn the language. I thought it a perfect gift to send to the family (my brother, his wife and Hannah reside in
Mill Valley
,
CA
). I emailed my brother today to make sure that he was in receipt of the DVD, and this is what he wrote back: “Yes…we got the DVD yesterday and immediately sat down with Hannah to watch it, and she was totally absorbed and repeated quite a few words with excellent pronunciation… I don’t know how you found these DVD's, but they are great! We will buy more."
So…there you have it! Just wanted to share their comments with your company. Keep it up.

Though he has other DVD's or videos targeted for infants, Professor Toto is clearly his favorite. Before we reach for a DVD,
Logan
quickly puts in his request, "Toto, Toto!" From the moment the first notes of the opening song he is hooked. Very often he is too excited to sit down .. even after viewing the DVD's many times, he still waits in anticipation for each segment.
Logan
loves to point to the parts of his body as Professor Toto names them. He knows all the animals that perform many of the fun-filled activities.

Since learning about the multiple benefits of teaching children a second language, I have been on a constant search for good materials to help teach French to our 3-year-old Bridget. I have found the Professor Toto program an ideal tool to help with this goal. It offers an engaging and entertaining format to teach children language as spoken by native French speakers through several adorable characters such as Professor Toto, Eric and Sophie. Watching the program with our daughter, I noticed she could readily identify with Eric as he went through his day. In addition, the fun songs and vocabulary lessons are perfectly paced to keep toddlers interested.
Perhaps the best endorsement is that after watching only once or twice, Bridget always asks to see it again, and again and again...and we have watched as her vocabulary and language skills have improved. All this, not to mention that the program keeps her entertained time and time again--another benefit that cannot be underestimated!

It is the first program that my daughter has requested in another language. We have other books and CDs but I have to initiate listening to those. I believe the animation works because it is so eclectic. The characters are fun and quirky! I love the music because it has a nice easy rhythm to it that is easy to keep in your head. We also enjoy the animal sound effects!! Overall we are very pleased and I look forward to experiencing a change in my daughter's growth in language

Watching the Professor Toto DVD seems to have rekindled
Erin
's interest in French and increased her vocabulary, since she has been spontaneously saying more French words. Watching and listening to animated movies is an excellent way to supplement language classes or even learn a new foreign language. I thought the material was well chosen, the animation charming, and the general effect very happy and positive. Lindsay, Adrienne and Erin have all enjoyed watching Professor Toto, which provides proof that it appeals to a wide age range and is not too childish to interest older students.

[The] Professor Toto videos magnetize her. The interplay in these videos between conversation and song is spellbinding. Charming scenes depict young Sophia learning from her quaint professor and a typical day of 4 year old Eric, emphasizing childhood comforts like play, snacks, pets and family time. These scenes are interspersed with musical segments featuring delightful songs and an animated giraffe driving a school bus .. these videos have the warm appeal of comfort food. Repetition produces familiarity and increases her fondness. She likes hearing the text of Eric's Day coloring book read aloud as she adds new layers to her coloring and at bedtime she asks to fall asleep with French songs playing.

My daughter Jahnavi watches it about once per week. Even my son, who is 10 months old is totally engaged by it. I am impressed by how much Jahnavi enjoys the program. I also think it is effective to have the lessons intermixed with songs. The animated characters are cute, colorful and engaging. Using animals to portray different actions is a good way to introduce verbs.

She is very attentive while watching the DVD's and always reacts to the audio CD. She already understands words that we say to her in French. We're very excited to be getting this foundation set in her brain during this early stage of her development, especially since she so clearly enjoys the DVD's and the music.

Our daughter Danielle loves the Professor Toto program. She wakes up in the morning and asks to watch it everyday. As she watches the program she repeats the words and sings to the songs. When we take Danielle on car trips, she asks to listen to the Professor Toto CD in the car. We are very pleased with the program and her progress.

The repetition helps. We watch Enrique's day and it holds his interest. I like the program very much. The giraffe holds his interest, especially under the bridge - something so simple, but it works. I was pleasantly surprised at the graphics, songs and bright colors. We haven't used the books yet, but they are very appealing to the eye, colorful! I would recommend the program highly!

Our five year old was missing his lessons with the LWFC. He had attended for two years. The tapes have refreshed what he had learned and helped confirm how valuable the lessons had been. The three year old had no real prior exposure. In three weeks she is singing her alphabet in French. She adores the tapes. I would and have recommended the tapes. Our friends have bought them, and they are French. The tapes are lively and do not condescend as most children's material seems to do. To be effective and entertaining is a real treat. Thank you for these CDs/DVDs. I have searched and searched for something like this and always came up empty handed. Both of my children ask for these materials over and over again. I was concerned that the bloom would soon be off the rise but thus so far they continue to be enthralled.

Samantha and I watch the video and use the materials at least 3 times a week. She requests the video and asks to look at the parent booklet while I read it. When she wants to see part One, she often says "I want to watch uno, dos." We are reinforcing her Spanish skills. She is beginning to sing the introductory songs in Spanish. I would recommend Professor Toto to other parents. It is enjoyable and a good way to be introduced to another language. The material is accurate. The animation is great and keeps her attention. The sound is good too. Sometimes Samantha listens even when she is not watching. I like the diversity: racial, gender, and age.

She talks more often and understands better. Also, she repeats the words. And now she responds very well when I talk to her in French.

It improved her vocabulary. She especially likes the Sing and Learn CD and book which she listens to and follows along almost every night before falling asleep.

I believe the immersion is a great way to teach a language and it really keeps my boys attention with all the songs. I think learning another language is very important...We'll all be talking in Spanish in no time!

Lucas enjoys the transition with the bus arriving at the tunnel. He likes learning things in Spanish that he uses everyday - numbers, colors, animals, the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. He LOVES the music!!!

Harris is still shy - or recalcitrant -- speaking out in class yet she talks along with Professor Toto. Using animals was a brilliant idea. Harris loves them.

I would definitely recommend Professor Toto - it's a very comprehensive way to teach everyday vocabulary and grammar. Professor Toto helps to make French an everyday experience for my daughter.

Lily enjoys watching the tapes and listening to the CDs. She considers it a treat so we watch or listen very often (together). I like the fact that the tapes/CDs are fun and educational so Lily learns and has fun at the same time.

Marley repeats the words from "Sing and Learn" and points to her body parts with "Las partes de los cuerpo". I am so happy there is a decent Spanish language product. I love the coloring book and the Sing and Learn book. I love the animation. The story is fun, cute and engaging. The songs are fun.

Full immersion in the language is the best way to learn! The only way to learn a language at a young age is to completely immerse the child in that language. Alexander loves the music tape. It is very well done. Full Spanish music tapes are a great way to learn. We play the Spanish music every day. We have a CD of bilingual songs, it is ok, but full language is better!
